Landscaping GuidelinesPosted on: 2007-03-06When each of you purchased your new homes, you received (or should have received) a copy of the covenants and restrictions for the neighborhood. There is a lot of great information in there to make sure that the neighborhood you live in is maintained in the way that you expect. If you need another copy please email or call me and I will send one to you.
Something you might want to start thinking about are:
Tree in front yard – It is required that a tree not smaller than 21/2” in diameter (measured four feet above the ground) shall be planted and maintained in your front yard. The approved tree varieties are: red sunset maple, autumn blaze maple, autumn purple ash and red oak. Comparable trees recommended by a landscaper and approved in writing by the Developer may be substituted.
Plantings – The area between your home and your sodded yard shall be covered in stone or bark. Homeowners are also required to plant a minimum of 15 plantings in that area.
